SANTA TIME! 2009

Santa couldn’t find a more ADORABLE group of helpers if he set out on a worldwide search! We were stopped by so many people from the time we got out of the Yukon in the parking lot, our royal march through J.C. Penney and on through the mall to Santa’s throne.

The ooh’s and aah’s were everywhere! They stomped around with their curly hair, sparkly PINK Santa dresses and ooh la la BOOTS! I was busting at my seams with Granny pride!

Of course we had to wait in line for almost two hours because Alyssa & Randi were late as usual. When will I learn to tell them 7 instead of 9? After we were done telling Santa about all the cool stuff we wanted him to bring we went to a Mexican food lunch and then to Marble Slab with uncle Joey for some mint ice-cream in our Abdominal snowman T’s!

That evening Papaw took us to Dickinson’s “Festival of Lights”. It was really pretty and lots of fun, but very F O G G Y!

I had them all weekend and they were so good despite a little bickering over where we were sitting in the car. They colored, watched Christmas specials and decorated their own tree with Uncle Jeff.

I’m so blessed to have my little girls. My heart aches for their cousin little Bobby. I hope that someday soon his mommy will bring him to see me, or I can travel to visit him in Dallas. I want him to know how much I love him and miss him. It saddens my heart that I can’t spoil and spend time with him like I do the girls. It is so unfair to him to miss out on all the fun things we do together.

MERRY CHRISTMAS BLOG FRIENDS! COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS AND THANK GOD FOR THE LITTLE MIRACLES IN YOUR LIFE.

DON’T FORGET THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!

TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
